RADIO OPERATION

This Electronic Clock-Radio should be operated 

on AC current only.

Your Clock Radio has a built-in antenna for AM 

reception which is directional. If the reception is not 
clear, try turning the radio to other directions.

The small 

fl

 exible wire on the back of the unit is 

the FM antenna. For best reception, extend this 
wire to its full length.

TO PLAY RADIO

1. Slide the FUNCTION SMITCH (17) to ON 

position.

2. Slide the BAND SWITCH (8) to the band to 

your preference.

3. Select a station by rotating the TUNING CON-

TROL (10).

4. Adjust the VOLUME CONTROL (15) to a 

desired level.

5. To turn radio off. Slide the FUNCTION SWITCH 

(17) to OFF position.

TO SET THE TIME

1. Press and hold the TIME SET button (3).
2. Press the MINUTE SET button (6) until the 

correct minute setting is reached.

3. Continue holding the TIME SET button (3), 

press the HOUR SET BUTTON (5) until the correct 
hour setting is reached.

TO SET THE WAKE-UP ALARM TIME

1. Holding the ALARM SET button (2)
2. Press the MINUTE SET button (6) until the 

correct minute setting is reached.

3. Continue hold the ALARM SET button (2), 

press the HOUR SET BUTTON (5) until the correct 
hour setting is reached.

SLEEP FUCNTION

1. Slide the FUNCTION SWITCH (17) to OFF 

position.

2. Press and hold the SLEEP SET button (4), 

«59» will appear on the LED DISPLAY (7), indi-
cating that the radio will shut off automatically in 
59 minutes.

3. To shorten automatic shut down time, hold the 

SLEEP SET button (4) and press the MINUTE SET 
button (6) together to adjust as required.

4. To increase the automatic shut down time, hold 

the SLEEP SET button (4) and press the HOUR 
SET button (5) together to adjust as required. 
Maximum sleep time is 1 hour 59 minutes.

5. The SNOOZE button can be used to cancel 

the sleep function.

WAKE TO RADIO OR ALARM

1. Slide the FUNCTION SWITCH (17) to AUTO 

position.

2. When pre-set alarm time is reached, the radio 

will be switched on automatically for 120 minutes 
and then to be shut off automatically.

3. The unit will wake to ALARM instead of RADIO 

if the VOLUME CONTROL (15) is turned to BUZZ-
ER position (a «click» sound could be heard)

SNOOZE BUTTON

1. When the alarm is ringing, press the SNOOZE 

button (l), the unit will be shut OFF and switched 
ON again in exactly 9 minutes. You may repeat 
this operation within a period of 45 minutes after 
the pre-set alarm time.

BATTERY BACK-UP FOR CLOCK

1. Open the BATTERY DOOR (11), install a 9-volt 

battery into the battery compartment

2. When there is a power failure, the radio and 

the LED display will no longer operate, but the 9V 
battery will keep the clock going.

3.So, as soon as the power failure is over, the LED 

DISPLAY (7) will show the correct time immediately 
without the need for time adjusting.

MAINTENANCE

1. Do not place your clock radio in a high tempera-

ture area, such as under direct sunlight or close to a 
radiator. Excessive heat will damage the unit.

2. Do not expose your clock radio to rain or mois-

ture to prevent 

fi

 re or shock danger.

3. Do not use polish solvents or strong detergents 

to clean the unit. The cabinet can be cleaned with 
a piece of soft cloth or if necessary to be cleaned 
with a piece of soft cloth soaked with little water. 
The power plug should be disconnected from the 
mains supply during the cleaning.
